Woman-Owned & Operated

Meet Lindsay Lambert Owner of Paddling Yogini LLC & One Mind Yoga:

Lindsay is a lifelong athlete, educator, and wellness professional with a deep-rooted passion for movement, both on land and on the water. Raised in the Bellevue/Issaquah area of Washington State, Lindsay has been active her entire life, with over 12 years of competitive swimming and water polo experience, including national-level rankings. That athletic foundation naturally led her into a career in teaching and coaching.

In 1999, Lindsay earned her first of many lifeguard certifications and went on to instruct aquatic-based classes at pools, water parks, and beaches through 2015. During that time, she certified through the American Red Cross (ARC), YMCA, and ALA Lifeguard Training Programs. She continues to maintain a current membership with the American Swimming Coaches Association and holds an ASCA Swim Coach certification. Lindsay specializes in open-water swim instruction, as well as open-water safety and rescue.

In 2010, her professional focus expanded to land-based fitness. She fell in love with Vinyasa yoga and mat Pilates for their emphasis on balance, flexibility, and breath awareness, while also developing a strong passion for TRX® Suspension Training for its strength, core, and functional movement benefits. Lindsay is known for thoughtfully challenging her students and guiding them to elevate their practice, physically and mentally.

Beginning in 2011, Lindsay completed extensive TRX® education, including the TRX® Suspension Training Course (STC), Group Training Course (GTC) (completed twice), and the Advanced Group Training Course (AGTC). Early in her TRX journey, she created TRX Yoga Fusion, a unique format that uses the TRX® Trainer as an innovative yoga prop on the mat. She also teaches TRX Basics, HIIT, Cardio, and Core Ball classes.

After completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Angela Wagner Yoga, Lindsay primarily began guiding Power Flow style classes rooted in strength, intentional sequencing, and breath-led movement. Equally important to her teaching philosophy is the ability to offer balance. She also guides Slow Flow and Yin classes, creating space for students to take the time to reset their nervous systems, and experience a deep tissue, low-to-the-mat release. Lindsay intentionally offers a range of class styles so students can meet their bodies where they are, whether that means building strength and heat or finding stillness, recovery, and restoration.

In 2014, Lindsay brought her land and water expertise together, earning certifications through Bliss Paddle Yoga as a Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga instructor, a Level 1 World Paddle Association (WPA) instructor, and becoming certified twice as a PaddleFit Core coach. That same year, she founded Paddling Yogini LLC, her mobile SUP yoga and fitness business. Since then, she has raced, paddled, and taught on waterways throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Canada.

In 2017, Lindsay opened One Mind Yoga – Issaquah, creating a welcoming studio space offering certified TRX training, yoga for all ages and abilities, community foam rolling, and family fitness. As she enters her ninth year of brick-and-mortar ownership, Lindsay is being pulled in a new direction and plans to sell One Mind Yoga in May 2026. She will continue to focus on Paddling Yogini LLC while remaining open to new opportunities and collaborations.

At the heart of Lindsay’s work is a desire to make a meaningful, positive impact on her students’ lives. She believes that cultivating a healthy mind, body, and spirit creates the foundation for achieving anything. She enjoys teaching all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, and brings that same philosophy into her life as a mother.

Lindsay is deeply committed to raising her three children with a holistic, natural-minded approach to health and wellness. Her daughter, 22, is a graduate of Idaho State University with a degree in ASL Interpreting and is already working in the field. Her oldest son, 17, is a national-level goalkeeper playing full-time with the U-19 Sounders Academy and is preparing to begin his collegiate soccer career at Seattle University. Her youngest son, 7, has grown up immersed in yoga and fitness and loves paddleboarding alongside his mom. Her children are her greatest inspiration and her driving force to continue growing, teaching, and living with purpose.
